Leaders Choose 'Plan B' For Raleigh Convention Center Design

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh and Wake County leaders have chosen a design for a new convention center.

Leaders decided plan B, which includes an underground exhibit hall, would work best for the city.

At an estimated cost of $183 million, plan B is also the most expensive of

three proposed options

A final decision on the plan is not expected for some time.
