FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — All three teens accused of killing a decorated war veteran two years ago have pleaded guilty.

Michael Ruffin recently pleaded guilty to second-degree murder. The judge sentenced him to 35 years in prison.

Prosecutors say Ruffin and two other teens were robbing a Fayetteville Subway restaurant when one of them beat 76-year-old Marvin Wells over the head with a gun. Wells died a few months later.

The other suspects, Rodney Bishop and Hugh Rolon, pleaded guilty last year.
