Man Charged With I-540 Deaths To Stand Trial In June

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh man charged with killing four teenagers in a crash on Interstate 540 is scheduled to stand trial in June.

Christopher Petersen was indicted last fall on four counts of involuntary manslaughter.

Investigators claim he was racing another car back in 2001, when it crashed.

Bryan Reaves, David Smith, Matthew Yurcak and Jamie Lynn Brewer died in that wreck.
