CLAYTON, N.C. — Two Clayton dentists are trying to get back to normal after fire destroyed their practice.

Dr. Jeff Calamos said he and his partner have set up two temporary trailers at the site of their old center. They hope to start taking patients again in the trailers later in the week.

Their dental center was part of a string of Clayton business fires in one week in February. Police ruled the dental center fire and a Laundromat fire in the area were accidental.

Two other fires are still under investigation, but investigators said they do not believe the cases are connected.
