CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. — When Cumberland County deputies arrive on a crime scene, they often find kids who witnessed something traumatic. They hope a new addition will provide those kids with some comfort.
The North Fayetteville Exchange Club donated hundreds of stuffed animals Monday for deputies to keep in their cars.
Authorities plan to pass them out to children at crime scenes.
