Goldsboro Parents To Speak Out On School Segregation

Posted Updated

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Parents will get their chance to sound off on the segregation issue in Goldsboro city schools Friday evening.

A public forum takes place at Antioch Baptist Church at 7:30 p.m.

The six public schools within the city limits are nearly 100-percent minority.

Local pastors have teamed up with the NAACP to file a complaint with the civil rights office in Atlanta. They also plan to file a lawsuit against Wayne County.
