RALEIGH, N.C. — WRAL-TV lost one of its valued employees and a friend Tuesday.
Photographer Ron Pittman died just a few weeks shy of his 46th birthday.
Pittman celebrated 17 years with the WRAL-TV family in December and became a news photographer in 1996. He graduated from Enfield High School and Shaw University.
He was a loving father and leaves behind a 20-year-old son, Ronald Jr., and a 13-year-old daughter, Shanel.
