State Transportation Board Awaits Federal Funding For Regional Rail Project

Posted February 24, 2004

— Some members of the state Board of Transportation want to take another look at funding for a proposed

regional rail system

State Transportation Board member Stan White said waiting on federal money is a gamble. He said there needs to be a back-up plan.
