Raleigh Authorities Search For Two Suspects In Home Invasion Case

RALEIGH, N.C. — The search is on for two men who burst into a North Raleigh home, tied up a couple and robbed them.

The Wake County Sheriff's Office said the home invasion happened around 8:30 p.m. Thursday at a home on Shonnie Drive.

Officials said Mai Bui Hodges was cooking in her kitchen when she opened a window in her door to ventilate the kitchen. Afterwards, authorities say two armed men burst inside and attacked her and her husband, Bob.

Authorities say both victims were ducttaped to the dining room chairs while the suspects ransacked the house and robbed the couple.

"It takes a sorry person to come in your house regardless of how old you are, but to pick on old people, it takes a sorrier person" said Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison. "He is a firstt-class thug as far as I am concerned."

Authorities are looking for two black males, approximately six feet tall,wearing dark clothing. One suspect is heavy set. The other suspect hasshort hair and wore baggy jeans.
