RALEIGH — Nearly 700 people were arrested during the first three days of this year's ``Booze It and Lose It'' campaign.
The Governor's Highway Safety Program reported the numbers last night. This is the tenth year of the campaign and this time it will last through January Second.

Buncombe and Cabarrus counties each posted 25 D-W-I arrests.
A total of nearly 16-thousand traffic and criminal citations had been issued through last night.
