AutoZone, a national supplier of auto parts, is utilizing “Marketmax” from
SAS
as its merchandise planning solution.
“We felt comfortable deepening our relationship with SAS because their approach to our business lined up with our long-term strategic vision of advanced planning and forecasting,” said Ken Brame, chief information officer at AutoZone. “After looking at several vendors, we decided that SAS offered us the best functionality, ease of use and scalability. … We’re confident they’ll be able to help us better plan our business and enhance customer service.”
AutoZone will use the SAS software for performance analysis, financial planning, product management and planning as well as forecasting. The company also uses SAS software for predictive analytics.
