FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. — School buses are running in Wake County, despite a rash of vandalism.
Someone threw rocks at 12 buses at Fuquay-Varina High School. The damaged windows delayed 13 bus routes Wednesday. Some routes were delayed up to 45 minutes while crews conducted repairs.
Maintenance crews worked all day to replace the glass and get the buses ready to roll.
Vandals damaged six more buses last weekend.
