Johnston County School Vandalized

SMITHFIELD, N.C. — Police have confirmed that vandals broke into Smithfield-Selma High School sometime before 2 a.m. Monday, causing approximately $5,000 worth of damage inside the school.

The Facility Services staff has completed the clean-up, according to Ann Williams, assistant superintendent for facility services.

The Smithfield Police Department is investigating the incident.
