Hobgood Teens Back Home After Arrest On Blasting-Cap Charges

HOBGOOD, N.C. — Two 14-year-olds accused of setting off blasting caps at a Halifax County school are out of police custody and back home.

A third teen, 16-year-old James Braddy, also is charged. He has been accused of possessing weapons of mass destruction.

Investigators said the boys put the devices on the playground at Hobgood Academy and detonated them over the holidays.
