RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police say the man who allegedly robbed a bank Wednesday is also responsible for two other armed robberies.
Detectives believe 24-year-old Dwayne Battle robbed a Subway restaurant on Dec. 29 on Western Boulevard and robbed a Subway restaurant at W. Peace Street on Jan. 5.
Battle was already in jail on charges he robbed a CCB bank on North New Hope Road. Battle allegedly left the bank and got into a taxicab. He was arrested later that day outside Crabtree Valley Mall.
