RALEIGH, N.C. — Capitol Broadcasting mourns the loss of one of its own. Toby Knox, 51, passed away Monday morning.
Knox was injured in a car accident last Sunday, then came down with pneumonia. He had been hospitalized the entire time.
Knox was a master control operator at WRAL-TV and an eight-year employee of Capitol Broadcasting.
Knox was very involved in his church and served as a Sunday school leader. He is survived by his wife Janet, and three children; Toby, Jr., 29, Jason, 11, and Sharrod, 8.
A funeral is scheduled for noon on Saturday, Jan. 3 at St. James Christian Church, 1739 Martin Luther King Parkway (264 Alternate), in Wilson.
