DURHAM, N.C. — Some goats in Durham received some good news. They can continue to graze in the Bull City.
Ricky Pope raises about 50 goats on three acres. Everything was fine until a city zoning officer issued him a citation.
His farm was annexed into the city, but Pope thought he could keep operating his farm.
Pope asked City Council members to rezone his property to a rural designation, and they agreed.
