LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Clay Aiken caps a busy week Friday night with his TV acting debut.
Aiken makes a guest appearance on the
Nick at Nite Holiday Special.
WRAL was with Aiken in L.A. as he taped the special along with Ted Danson, Martin Mull and others. Aiken said he was very nervous acting with a room full of veterans.
Raleigh's American Idol runner-up sings a high-tech duet on the show with the late Bing Crosby.
The holiday special airs at 10 p.m.
The show airs a night after Aiken participated in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, singing "Silver Bells" aboard a Hershey's float.
While in New York, Aiken made appearances on MTV and the "Late Show with David Letterman."
