Suspect In Cary Robbery Indicted By Grand Jury

RALEIGH, N.C. — A grand jury has indicted a man for a violent jewlery store robbery in Cary last summer.

Malcolm Carry, 28, faces several charges, including robbery and trying to kill a Cary police officer.

According to police, Carry shot at them while making his getaway.

Three other suspects also face charges in this case. Those three were arrested in the hours following the robbery.

Carry, 28, remained at-large for 10 days following the Aug. 27 robbery before being apprehended in Brooklyn, N.Y., by members of the United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force.
