Friends, Family Say Goodbye To Teenager Killed In Car Crash

Posted Updated

CARTHAGE, N.C. — Moore County high school students will go to class Monday with heavy hearts.

Now the town has to decide if the sign is dangerous. Commissioners will talk about changing the sign ordinance and closing a side street near the restaurant at their next meeting Nov. 17.

Students at Union Pines have more immediate concerns.

"I didn't expect anybody else to be here," Allison Blue said of Sunday's service. "I thought it was pretty nice a lot of people showed up."

The restaurant owner said his landlord is talking with her lawyer to decide whether to move the sign.
