RALEIGH, N.C. — The City of Oaks is putting 3,000 palms trees on the auction block.
The City of Raleigh owns the tropical trees, but there are too many and the
purchasing division
will sell the extras.
Bidding starts in a few weeks.
City officials hope to make about $5,000 from the auction.
