Cary Turns Down Noise At Amphitheatre
Posted October 24, 2003
CARY, N.C. — The Town of Cary is turning down the volume on heavy metal bands.
Neighbors have complained for years about loud concerts at the Amphitheatre at Regency Park.
After this summer's concert featuring the heavy metal band, Poison, town officials decided to lower the sound levels at the amphitheater.
The town also installed a monitoring device to maintain the lower sound level.
