RALEIGH, N.C. — A wreck along the 2100 block of Brentwood Road caused traffic delays and left some residents without power Thursday morning.

Raleigh police said a truck and car were involved in a sideswipe near the intersection of Brentwood and Lake Woodland Drive and the truck careened into a utility pole.

No major injures were reported.

Power, which had been knocked out in the immediate area, has been restored to all customers, according to Progress Energy.

A section of Brentwood Road, which was closed for much of the morning, has reopened to traffic.
