DURHAM, N.C. — North Carolina Central University will have to spend nearly $17 million for emergency repairs to clean up its mold problem.
A potentially toxic mold has been found in 11 campus buildings, including several dorms.
Nearly 500 students were forced to live off campus in hotels and apartments.
A final report said repairs could swell to more than $58 million.
