<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — The North Carolina Department of Transportation will temporarily close Rose of Sharon Road from Guess Road to Old Road in Durham County on Tuesday, Oct. 7, beginning at 9 a.m. The section will be closed about one month.

The closing is necessary to lower pavement levels as part of the Guess Road widening project.

NCDOT reminds motorists to obey the posted speed limit and be aware of construction workers in the work zone.
