RALEIGH, N.C. — Two men charged with the 2002 shooting of a Durham Bulls player and his girlfriend at a Raleigh Waffle House have been indicted.

Bryce Williams and Malcolm Whitley were each indicted Monday on two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

Investigators say the men shot Bulls pitcher Delvin James in the shoulder and his girlfriend, Monique McNelly, in the stomach. McNelly is paralyzed.

Kevin Graham is also charged in the shooting, but he has not been indicted yet.
