RDU Offers Numbers For Travelers To Call For Flight Status As Storm Approaches

MORRISVILLE, N.C. — Officials at Raleigh-Durham International Airport are asking passengers with travel plans Wednesday through Friday to contact their airline to confirm flight information.

In anticipation of Hurricane Isabel, airlines, construction contractors, rental car companies, cargo companies and other airport tenants have begun securing materials and equipment. The Airport Authority continues to monitor the hurricane's progress. As of Wednesday at noon, no flights had been canceled due to the storm.

Passengers should be reminded that inclement weather outside of the Triangle region can impact flight schedules. The best advice is for travelers to contact their airline before coming to the airport. Airline reservation numbers can be found on the
