Harnett Commissioners Look At Stricter Mobile Home Regulations

Posted Updated

HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. — Leaders in Harnett County are trying to spruce up their neighborhoods.

The Board of Commissioners beefed up an ordinance regulating mobile home parks. There are now specific procedures for getting a permit to develop a mobile home community.

The ordinance also sets standards for pools, carports, sheds and other things outside homes. It also bans people from moving mobile homes built before 1976 into the county.
