DURHAM, N.C. — Police in Durham have identified a woman whose body was found behind a house on Canal Street Wednesday as48-year-old Sherrline Lyons, of Lyric Street.
Lyons' body was found around 1:10 p.m. Investigators are treating the case as a suspicious death.
The woman's family reported her missing on Saturday.
