Raleigh Police Name Suspect In Homicide

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police have named a suspect wanted in connection with an overnight murder.

Investigators say Mario Smith shot 31-year-old Lincoln Sutton twice -- once in the chest and once in the thigh -- near a house at the intersection of Idlewild Avenue and Jones Street around 1 a.m Tuesday, according to Raleigh police.
