PETA Offers Reward For Information About Cat's Death

Posted Updated

JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. — Investigators hope a reward of up to $5,000 leads to the person who killed a family pet.

Authorities say someone tied a rope around the cat and hung it from a tree in July in Johnston County.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) offered the reward to help deputies find the killer.
