Audit: Hillside H.S. Officials Acted Appropriately With Booster Club

DURHAM, N.C. — A Durham high school that was trying to track down thousands of dollars from booster clubs did the right thing by taking over the sales.

An internal review released Friday says Hillside High School leaders acted appropriately by taking over concessions from the booster club.

Earlier this year, the booster club was one of several groups at the school that could not account for thousands of dollars.
