Trooper Charged In Wife's Shooting Remains On Paid Leave

ROXBORO, N.C. — A state trooper accused in the shooting of his wife in Person County remains on paid administrative leave.

The move to put Bobby Regan on paid leave was to last 30 days and would have expired over the weekend, but sometime last week, it was extended another 30 days.

A final decision on his future with the Highway Patrol can come at anytime in the next 30 days.

Regan is free on $1 million bond.
