GOLDSBORO, N.C. — The town of Goldsboro has a plan to save a fire-ravaged landmark.
The Paramount Theatre, which opened in 1882, burned in 2005. Relatives of the original owners will rebuild the Paramount with help from the city.
It is expected to cost $5 million to $6 million to rebuild.
Goldsboro leaders hope the Paramount will open in about two years.
