Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — A grand jury indicted three men in connection with a slaying in Raleigh.

Patrick Ballard, Amara Powell, and Eric Townes were indicted Tuesday. Fourteen people are charged with murder in the case.

In June, police said 19-year-old Jamel Jefferys was killed on Beauty Avenue when three carloads of people came down the street and shot at him.

Police are calling the shooting gang-related.
