DURHAM, N.C. — A weekend traffic-enforcement operation paid off in Durham.
Five agencies set up the checkpoints near Angier Avenue.
Officers arrested eight people on DWI charges and wrote between 50 and 60 citations for other driving offenses.
Officers said they also made numerous drug arrests and recovered several stolen weapons.
