Blaze Damages Cary Condominium Complex

Posted Updated

CARY, N.C. — An early-morning fire forced some Cary residents out of their homes on Saturday.

The fire started at a condominium complex on Kristin Court at about 4 a.m. More than a dozen fire units were called to the scene.

At least three residences sustained smoke and water damage. There were no injuries.

"I came down and saw the wall of fire across the street," said resident Damian Bower. "I got my wife up and got the baby out. We have a newborn. Then I started collecting as many personal items as I could.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
