Posted Updated

DURHAM, N.C. — SourceKit is rolling out a new email marketing tool that is designed to predict the deliverable success of messages.

The proprietary tool called Message Quality Score, is designed to help email campaign designers avoid problems with "spam" filters. The tool sans messages for coding or content that is likely to earn a spam designation and assigns a score predicting the deliverable chances of the message.

"The Message Quality Score tool prevents marketers from inadvertently hurting their campaign results," explains Drew Adams, founder and president of SourceKit. "The tool helps marketers understand how their emails will perform before they send it by pointing out text that could get it blocked by spam filters and alerting them to HTML issues that could affect the way their message looks across multiple email readers. Better yet, the system then corrects many of these detrimental issues with the simple click of a button."

Detected negative attributes of a message are highlighted, and the message is scored on a scale of 1 to 100 with 100 being the highest score. The tool includes a one step command to automatically correct problems in the message, according to SourceKit.
