Wake County Deputies Make Drug Bust

RALEIGH, N.C. — Wake County Sheriff's deputies have arrested Jeffrey Arlyn Buck on numerous drug charges after confiscating marijuana plants from his Raleigh property.

According to the sheriff's office, a deputy answered a domestic violence call in the Sid Jones Mobile Home Park around 1 p.m. last Saturday. He was told that marijuana was growing in the back yard of 3840 Sid Jones Lane.

The deputy went to the address and received permission from Buck to look in his back yard. The deputy found numerous marijuana plants and called in a drugs and vice investigator.

Deputies said they confiscated 63 marijuana plants along with seeds. The street value for 63 fully developed plants is $155,000.

Buck was charged with maintaining a dwelling for the sale and delivery of a controlled substance and for manufacturing, selling and delivering a controlled substance. He was released on $2,500 secured bond.
