RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are hunting down a bank robber wanted for two hold-ups this week.

Authorities say a suspect robbed the First Citizens Bank in the Stonehenge Shopping Center Wednesday afternoon.

Police believe the suspect is also responsible for holding up a Centura Bank in north Raleigh Monday.

Police say the suspect is a white male in his early 30s, measuring 6-feet-1-inches tall and weighing 200 pounds. The suspect is reportedly well-tanned with sandy blonde hair and wears dark sunglasses.

During both robberies, authorities say the suspect was wearing a UNC baseball cap with white UNC logo. On Wednesday, authorities say he was also wearing a pullover long sleeve shirt with horizontal stripes.
