Raleigh Man Arrested After Mistakenly Released From Jail

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh man is back behind bars after he was mistakenly released from the Wake County jail.

Christopher Boone was arrested Saturday night after allegedly shooting and robbing a man he knew.

Boone was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and robbery, but a magistrate released him early Sunday morning on Boone's promise to appear in court.

Since Boone had been arrested before, he should have been held on bond.

Authorities arrested him again Sunday afternoon.
