Durham Murder Suspect Picked Up In Texas

Posted Updated

DURHAM, N.C. — The Durham Police Department reported Tuesday that David Christopher Pounds, wanted for last month's shooting death of Timothy Lamont Little, was arrested Saturday in Dallas, Texas.

The 30-year-old Pounds waived extradition back to North Carolina.

Pounds is accused of shooting the 33-year-old Little late March 31 during an argument inside 504-A Colfax Street.

Investigators from the FBI's Raleigh-Durham Violent Crime Task Force and officers from the Durham and Dallas police departments worked together to locate and arrest Pounds.
