HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — William Apple, the East Chapel Hill High School softball coach, has been fired from his duties.
Apple is under investigation by authorities for charges related to his Hillsborough tanning salon.
Police believe Apple secretly videotaped employees and customers while they were at the salon.
Assistant softball coach Michael Fire has been asked to serve as the interim coach.
