Cumberland Man Charged In Shooting Death Of Neighbor

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. — Authorities in Cumberland County have arrested a man suspected of killing his neighbor.

Investigators said Terry Delane Sinclair, 38, got into an argument Harold Edwards Oliver Sunday afternoon and shot him. It happened outside Oliver's home on the 2200 block of Carbine Street.

A deputy spotted Sinclair at a convenience store at the intersection of Honeycutt and McArthur roads around 1 a.m. Monday and arrested him.

Sinclair is charged with first-degree murder. He is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Facility with no bond.
