e-mail print friendly

A verdict was reached Thursday in the trial of a man charged with beating a woman to death with a chair.

Ronald Hendrickson will spend up to 20 years in prison. A jury found him guilty of second-degree murder.

Hendrickson admitted to killing his fiance, Tiana Williams, shortly after the July attack.

During his trial, the defense argued that Hendrickson's actions were not premeditated. Jurors apprently believed that, finding Hendrickson guilty of the lesser murder charge.
