FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Fayetteville Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred Monday afternoon at the First Union Bank at 4549 Raeford Road.

According to witnesses, a Hispanic-looking male between 30 and 40 years old walked into the bank shortly after 2 p.m. and approached a teller demanding money. The teller gave the man money, and he walked away.

Police said no one inside the bank at the time was able to provide a mode or direction of travel as the man departed the bank.
