Raleigh Girl Suffers Injuries To Arm, Leg In Pit Bull Attack

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh girl was recovering Saturday after being attacked by a neighbor's dog.

The pit bull came after 8-year old Jasmine Sheridan early Saturday afternoon.

Sheridan was playing in front of her home on Crowfield Drive when the dog bit her on the arm and leg.

The dog's owners said they didn't know the dog got loose. They also said this isn't the first time the dog attacked a child.

Despite the attack, Animal Control did not take the dog away.
