<b>TARBORO, N.C.</b> — A fight in New York helped local investigators track down a murder suspect.

Marvin Watkins faces charges in the death of a Tarboro High School football player. T.K. Knight was shot and killed in May. Police have been looking for Watkins ever since.

Watkins was arrested in New York Friday after a fight. Police ran his prints and saw that he was wanted in Edgecombe County.

Watkins will be extradited to North Carolina to face charges.
