Fourth Suspect In Durham Group Home Scandal Appears In Court

Posted Updated

DURHAM, N.C. — The fourth suspect in the Durham group home sex scandal was in court Wednesday.

Eddie Holden is a residential counselor at the Glenn School IRT, a group home for mentally ill and disturbed teenage boys. Holden and three other suspects are all facing more than a dozen charges.

Investigators say they forced four boys to watch them have sex with a prostitute, and they also paid the prostitute to have sex with the boys.

The state has stopped the group home from admitting any new clients.
