The incident happened at a mobile home park on Pine Limb Lane off Hillsborough Street, near the Old Time Barbecue restaurant.
Police say Jose Martinez was outside a mobile home when he got into an argument with Vidal Lopez and Maricio Rea.
Police say Martinez pulled a gun and shot Lopez in the chest and Rea in the foot. Investigators say another shot went through the window of a nearby mobile home and killed Carlos Gomez, who was inside.
Gomez' girlfriend says she was asleep next to him when the bullet came through the window.
She says if he had not protected her by throwing his arm across her, she would be dead too.
Lopez is listed in stable condition. Rea is expected to be released.
Police are looking for Martinez.
